How to vape properly

People who are new to vaping are frequently disappointed with their first encounter. Because individuals are accustomed to smoking regular cigarettes, they approach their vape in the same way. Vaping does require some skill and expertise, but it is not rocket science! Here are some pointers to help you get started.

Choosing the right vape

The first thing you should learn if you're new to vaping is how to use your vape. Starting with a simple device that is easy to use, portable, and efficient is a good idea. It's crucial to realise that a 'simple' or starter kit isn't necessarily inferior to more complex kits in terms of vaping. There are a plethora of low-cost, high-quality beginning kits available that make getting started with vaping simple and pleasurable. We recommend starting with a starter e-cigarette, refillable pod kit, or disposable vape because they require very little maintenance and are great for beginners.

Choosing your e-liquid

It can take a long time and a lot of trial and error to find the correct e-liquid for you. After all, each individual is unique. There are numerous options, including VG/PG ratio, nicotine strength, and, of course, flavour! Higher PG e-liquids, on the other hand, deliver a stronger nicotine hit and more intense flavour, and higher VG e-liquids are for folks who desire large clouds of vapour. Your vaping experience will vastly improve once you've discovered the perfect flavour or flavours for you.

How To Use A Vape

When it comes to vaping, one of the most common mistakes that ex-smokers make is taking too short drags (pulls). This method works great with regular cigarettes but not with vaping since the e-liquid does not have enough time to flow through the coil and vaporise. We recommend using longer and slower drags (pulls) for a more enjoyable vape.

When it comes to inhaling, there are two (2) main methods:

  1. Mouth to Lung (MTL) - This style of inhaling is more similar to that of smoking a cigarette. It is suitable for smaller devices with higher nicotine. You will draw vapour into your mouth, hold it there for a couple of seconds and then breathe it into your lungs. Then, once the vapour has entered your lungs you exhale. This style is perfect for people that are vaping to stop smoking.
  2. Direct to Lung (DTL) - This style gives a much smoother hit and is used with bigger more powerful vape kits. It is a much simpler style of inhaling as you inhale the vapour quickly and directly into your lungs and then exhale straight away.

It's also a good idea to let your coil cool down between vapes by waiting a few minutes. Chain vaping (when a user takes repeated draws in a short period of time) might shorten the coil's lifespan and create throat irritation.
